This study takes small biopsy samples of your lung cancer and grows them in a dish to predict how well immunotherapy will work. If you qualify, you’ll receive standard immunotherapy (anti-PD-1/L1, with or without anti-CTLA-4), and the results from the dish-grown tumors will be compared to your real-world response.

Who can take part
- You (or a legally authorized representative) can understand the study and sign informed consent.
- You have advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and are 18 or older.
- You have not started immunotherapy yet (it’s immunotherapy-naive).
- Your health and daily functioning are good enough (ECOG score 0 to 2).
- Your scans show measurable cancer, with at least one spot that can be followed, and you have a lesion that can be safely biopsied for enough tissue to grow tumor “mini-organs” (tumoroids).
- You will receive anti–PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy (with or without anti–CTLA-4) as part of standard care; you must follow required pregnancy prevention rules during treatment.
