Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have drug-resistant focal (one-area) epilepsy.
- Your doctor has said you may be a candidate for epilepsy surgery.
- You must be willing to undergo intracranial stereo-EEG (brain) monitoring with electrodes.
- You can understand and sign the informed consent form.
- You do not have an active infection, especially with fever or infections near the implant site.
- Your scalp/skin at the implant site is healthy enough for safe electrode placement.
