Who can take part

  • You are planning epilepsy surgery
  • Your surgery includes placing electrodes inside or on the brain to record brain signals during the operation
  • You have epilepsy (not another condition causing seizures)
  • You do not have a cancerous (malignant) brain tumor
  • You do not have a worsening brain or metabolic (body chemistry) disease that would make intracranial EEG recording unsuitable
