Saline enhanced needle ablation for stubborn heart rhythm

Refractory Ventricular Tachycardia

Who can take part

  • You have heart disease in addition to the abnormal rhythm (structural heart disease)
  • You are 18 years or older and can sign consent
  • You’ve had repeated, symptom-causing sustained VT (lasting over 30 seconds) in the last 180 days
  • Your VT was treated with anti-tachycardia pacing and/or shocks, and it kept coming back after prior catheter ablation
  • You have an ICD (defibrillator) with at least 6 months of device data showing VT episodes
  • Your treating team believes you may not benefit from another conventional ablation method
