Who can take part

  • You were diagnosed with a sudden aortic problem (an “acute aortic syndrome”) within about 2 weeks of when symptoms started, based on clinical exam and scans.
  • You are currently being planned for emergency surgery for the aortic condition.
  • You are between 18 and 90 years old.
  • You are able and willing to sign the study consent form.
  • You do not have a known allergy to thymosin A1.
