Who can take part
- Your cancer was treated more than 5 years ago, and it was a type known to possibly harm the heart (often breast cancer, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, or prostate cancer).
- You do not have known coronary artery disease at the start of the study.
- You cannot already have a history of coronary artery disease.
- You can have a CT scan and produce images that are usable for the study.
- You can sign consent, and a doctor feels you likely have at least 12 months of life expectancy (not including pregnancy or other situations that make the study unsafe).
- You are not unable to take statin medicines, and you are not already taking statins in a way that makes it impossible to continue with the study plan.
