Parkinson's Disease; Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis; Glioblastoma; Cancer Without Neurological Disease; Rheumatoid Polyarthritis

Part of Brain & nervous system, Cancer, Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.

This trial includes a “control” group of people with certain diseases to compare outcomes against another group. If you qualify, you may receive the standard approach used in usual care rather than the experimental treatment.

NCT05772611Recruiting
Study of immune responses in brain autoimmune and nerve syndromes

This study looks at how the immune system works in certain neurological conditions, including autoimmune encephalitis and related nerve disorders. Researchers may use blood and/or spinal fluid samples, especially when antibodies are present or can’t be found, to better understand what’s driving the illness.

NCT05266872Recruiting
Earlier diagnosis and better treatment study for Parkinson’s

This study is looking to improve how Parkinson’s and related brain conditions are identified and treated sooner. You may be asked to share your health information and provide blood or other samples, and possibly have procedures like a spinal fluid test or a small skin sample.

Luxembourg
NCT02869048Recruiting
Study blood and immune signals in ALS and healthy controls

This trial studies the “innate immune system” (your body’s first-line immune response) in people with ALS and in comparison groups. It may help researchers understand what drives ALS and how immune changes could relate to symptoms.

NCT05536388Recruiting
Study of a new drug for GBA-related Parkinson’s

This study is looking for ways to find new drugs that may help people with Parkinson’s caused by changes in the GBA gene. It may also include people with Gaucher disease and healthy volunteers, using blood and possibly skin samples.

NCT07334743Recruiting
A study to find biomarkers in ALS using tiny brain particles

This trial collects blood and spinal fluid samples from people being checked for ALS. The goal is to find clues (biomarkers) in tiny particles from nerve cells that could help doctors better understand and diagnose ALS.

Paris
NCT05474235Recruiting
ALS and motor neuron disease studies for patients, family, and controls

This study looks at people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), people who might have ALS, and also people related to someone with ALS. It may help researchers better understand ALS and related “motor neuron” conditions, and it involves participation that may include blood tests.
