Who can take part
- You can speak and understand English fluently
- You have a main diagnosis of alcohol use disorder, with no more than 90 days without alcohol
- If you take psychiatric (mood/behavior) medications, your situation has been stable for the past 4 weeks
- You do not have a lifetime history of psychotic disorder or bipolar disorder
- You cannot have serious brain injury, major neurological problems, or conditions that make MRI scanning unsafe
- You have not had thoughts of suicide or harming others in the past month that require urgent higher-level care
