Who can take part
- Be age 3 to 21 when you give consent (or your parent/guardian does).
- Have newly diagnosed B-cell ALL, T-cell ALL, or mixed-phenotype acute leukemia.
- OR have a newly diagnosed favorable-type brain tumor such as low-grade glioma, medulloblastoma, ependymoma, pituitary tumor, or germ cell tumor.
- Start the study consent/assent very soon after diagnosis: within 3 working days for ALL, before chemotherapy/radiation/stem-cell transplant for brain tumors.
- Be treated at a participating medical center.
- Not have relapsed or worsening cancer (with limited exceptions for unresectable low-grade glioma).
