Who can take part
- You have HIV infection.
- You were diagnosed with Kaposi sarcoma (KS) confirmed by a KS biopsy or tissue test.
- Your KS is at a specific stage: T1, or T0 that got worse or didn’t respond after at least 12 weeks of HIV treatment, with enough skin/oral lesions.
- You’re 18 years or older, and you can sign consent (or a guardian can).
- Your heart pumping strength is strong enough: heart scan shows ejection fraction of 50% or higher.
- Your blood tests, liver tests, and kidney function are high/low enough to safely start chemotherapy.
