Who can take part
- You must have KS confirmed by a pathology lab (biopsy-proven Kaposi sarcoma).
- Your KS needs treatment with medicines (either widespread disease or it affects quality of life), or it has not responded to prior systemic therapy.
- You must have at least five skin KS spots that can be measured and have not had local radiation or local spot-killing treatments.
- If you had prior KS treatment, you need time for side effects to improve and a washout from chemo or immunotherapy before starting.
- If you have HIV, you must be on HIV treatment (ART) for at least 8 weeks with controlled viral load and enough immune cells (CD4).
- You must meet blood tests and organ function limits, and you must be able to sign consent.
