  • You are 18–75 and had a liver transplant 8–24 weeks ago
  • You are eating normally after discharge and can consent to the study
  • You have higher-than-normal blood sugar (diabetes or pre-diabetes based on labs or meds)
  • Your transplanted liver is working normally and your anti-rejection medicines are stable
  • Your body weight is higher than the trial’s cutoff (BMI above 27)
