PG2 shots to reduce moderate to severe breast cancer fatigue

This Phase 2 trial tests whether PG2 injections can safely reduce moderate to severe fatigue in people receiving chemotherapy for locally advanced, recurrent, or metastatic breast cancer. If you qualify, you may be asked to complete questionnaires and follow study plans for about 8 weeks.

Who can take part

  • You are a woman age 20 or older
  • You are receiving chemotherapy through an IV infusion right now
  • Your fatigue is moderate-to-severe (score 4 or higher) on at least two checks, at least 14 days apart
  • Your pain is fairly controlled (pain score 0–10 must be 4 or less)
  • Your blood tests are acceptable (hemoglobin at least 10, and kidney/liver tests within required limits)
  • You can complete study questionnaires and have at least 3 months of expected life
