Who can take part

  • You have confirmed breast cancer that is ER+ and PR+ and HER2-negative
  • You have had no prior treatments except chemotherapy given before surgery (neoadjuvant)
  • You have surgery (mastectomy) planned within 2 weeks of starting the study medicine
  • You do not have diabetes and are not taking glucose-lowering medications
  • Your blood tests (blood count, kidney, liver, and fasting blood sugar) are within normal ranges
  • You can understand the study and sign informed consent
