Who can take part

  • Be 3 to 12 years old
  • Have lazy eye from misalignment (strabismus), unequal glasses prescription (anisometropia), or both
  • Your two eyes must differ in vision by at least a certain amount (interocular difference ≥ 0.3 logMAR)
  • Wear glasses (if needed) for at least 8 weeks, and vision should stay the same at two checkups at least 4 weeks apart
  • Your eye doctor and family must agree to not use standard patching during the study
