- You have been diagnosed with major depression (major depressive disorder/major depressive episode).
- You do not have a moderate-to-severe risk of suicide.
- You do not have a past history of bipolar disorder or a psychotic disorder.
- You do not have substance use problems (alcohol or other substances).
- You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding.
- You do not have brain/electrical/metal implants (or a history of epilepsy) and no uncontrolled serious medical illness.
