iPSC eye-cell transplant for late dry macular degeneration

Who can take part

  • Age 50 to 75 years old
  • You have advanced “late dry” AMD with specific damage in the center vision area (the fovea) and/or stubborn “wet” AMD that did not respond to standard treatment
  • Your target eye’s vision (BCVA) is between 0.05 and 0.3 (so you still have some measurable vision but not normal vision)
  • You are able to give informed consent and attend regular follow-up visits on schedule
  • You are not relying on medications or conditions that increase bleeding, infection risk, or immune risk during the study
