Study for a cervical spine condition database

Cervical Myelopathy

Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Brain & nervous system clinical trials.

This trial builds a “repository,” or database, of people with a neck-spine condition. It aims to better understand degenerative problems in the neck that may or may not be causing spinal cord symptoms, which could help future research and care.

Study of posterior neck and upper-back spine fixation systems

This trial studies specific surgical hardware used to stabilize the back of the neck and upper back during spine surgery. It may help surgeons compare outcomes for people needing fixation for trauma, instability, failed prior fusion, tumors, or certain degenerative conditions.

Testing balance changes in older people with neck spinal cord wear

This trial studies how changes in balance and body sensing (proprioception) show up in people with age-related neck spinal cord problems. It may help researchers understand symptoms and how best to evaluate or manage degenerative cervical myelopathy.

Registry study of degenerative cervical spine compression

This study tracks people with wear-and-tear damage in the neck spine that pinches the spinal cord. Researchers will collect medical information and imaging over time to understand how this condition develops and affects people.

Study on new surgical guidelines for cervical myelopathy in Chinese patients

This trial is testing a new set of surgical criteria for people of Chinese ethnicity with a condition called degenerative cervical myelopathy (a spinal cord problem in the neck). It aims to see if these criteria can better identify who should have surgery.
