Who can take part

  • Be 50 years old or older
  • Have severe wear in the shoulder joint from rotator cuff tendon damage (rotator cuff arthropathy)
  • Your X-rays must show the shoulder socket (glenoid) has significant backward wear (>20 degrees posterior wear)
  • Have symptoms severe enough that you’ve already tried non-surgical treatments but still need surgery
  • Be medically able to have surgery and rehab (ASA health score 1 to 3)
