Who can take part

  • You must be under age 22, or a guardian can enroll you if you’re a minor
  • Your care team must recommend pulmonary valve replacement for you (or you have certain valve/pressure problems)
  • You and your guardian must be able and willing to return for all checkups for 1 year
  • A parent or legal guardian must agree and sign consent at the enrolling hospital
  • You should not have a heart valve replacement already anywhere else in the heart
  • You must not have certain infections, blood count problems, or other conditions that raise risk
