Light treatment for enlarged tonsils in children

Who can take part

  • Your child’s tonsils are enlarged to grade 3 or 4 (based on a doctor’s visual exam)
  • Your child can agree to take part (assent), and you can give permission (consent)
  • You can return for all study visits, including sleep testing before and after treatment
  • You and your parent/guardian will follow the study’s usual plan for referrals and care, even if you choose not to participate
  • Your child should not show signs of a cancerous growth in the tonsils
