Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your tonsils must be enlarged (size 2, 3, or 4 on a doctor's scale).
  • A sleep test within the last year must have confirmed obstructive sleep apnea.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be below 35.
  • You cannot have had previous throat surgery (like tonsil removal) or have certain medical conditions (like epilepsy, blood clots, or central sleep apnea).
