Re-treating brain tumor with radioactive liposome after prior dose

Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old and be able to sign informed consent.
  • Your brain tumor must be a glioma (brain cancer) proven by biopsy, and it must have progressed after your prior 186RNL treatment (Grade III or IV allowed).
  • You must be at least 90 days since your last 186RNL dose.
  • You must be planned for a stereotactic brain biopsy as part of standard care.
  • If you take anti-seizure or anti-swelling steroid medicines, your dose must be stable (and seizures must be controlled) before starting, for set time periods.
  • Your blood counts, kidney, and liver tests must be within allowed limits, and you must have enough tumor area in the scan that fits the treatment plan.
