Who can take part
- Be age 18 or older
- Have had an acute stroke and it was diagnosed by a doctor
- Be within 36 hours of the start of stroke symptoms
- Be unable to get up from a chair/bed and walk to the toilet without another person’s help
- A person can help with consent if you cannot consent yourself
- Pregnancy is not allowed, and you must not have certain leg circulation or skin problems
