  • You are newly diagnosed with a brain tumor or certain bleeding/vascular problem (not from injury).
  • The condition is in the upper part of the brain (supratentorial area).
  • You are between 18 and 100 years old.
  • Your blood pressure and circulation are stable right now.
  • You have not had brain radiation treatment before.
