Who can take part

  • You have shoulder osteoarthritis (not caused by another disease) that is getting worse.
  • You tried non-surgical treatments for at least 6 months (pain medicines, anti-inflammatories, physical therapy, and activity changes) but still have pain and disability.
  • Your imaging and the surgeon’s findings show advanced damage to the shoulder socket/arm joint cartilage.
  • Your shoulder socket (glenoid) is turned backward more than 15 degrees but no more than 26 degrees.
  • You are 65 years old or older.
