Who can take part

  • You have advanced shoulder arthritis in the ball-and-socket joint and your surgeon says replacement is appropriate
  • Non-surgical treatments (pain medicines/anti-inflammatories, physiotherapy, and activity changes) have not helped for at least 6 months
  • Your X-ray/scan shows a specific shoulder socket alignment (glenoid retroversion) between 10° and 26°
  • Imaging or surgery confirms advanced cartilage wear in the shoulder (head and possibly the socket)
  • You are 18 or older and can understand and sign the consent form
