Who can take part

  • You are between 14 and 75 years old, and you can be male or female
  • If you have asthma, you must have a confirmed diagnosis by standard asthma criteria
  • Your breathing test must show bronchodilator responsiveness (your airways improve after asthma medicine)
  • You must be willing to sign informed consent and follow all study steps
  • If you are not in the asthma group, you must be a healthy volunteer with no breathing symptoms
