Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older and can sign informed consent.
- Your lung cancer is non-small cell stage IVA/IVB (including M1b or M1c) or locally advanced and not eligible for standard chemoradiation.
- You have measurable cancer on scans (evaluable disease) and your tumor can be checked for PD-L1 (programmed death-ligand 1) from a tissue sample done within 6 months.
- You have an active general condition good enough for treatment (ECOG 0–2) and your kidneys/liver and other organs are functioning well enough for the planned drugs.
- You can have immunotherapy as decided by your study doctor, and—if you can become pregnant—you use highly effective birth control and have a recent negative pregnancy test.
