Who can take part

  • You are a man age 18 or older with invasive breast cancer
  • Your cancer is hormone-receptor positive (ER or PR) and HER2 negative
  • You have not had surgery to fully remove the main breast tumor and underarm (axillary) lymph nodes
  • Your cancer is Stage I, II, or III (not Stage 4), and a doctor confirms the stage
  • You must be able to swallow pills and agree to consent and a planned breast biopsy after an initial “window” period
  • Your blood counts and organ tests are within the study limits (enough white cells, hemoglobin, platelets; acceptable kidney, liver, and bilirubin levels)
