Who can take part

  • You or your child must have tested positive for at least one islet autoantibody in the blood.
  • You must not have any symptoms of diabetes, such as frequent urination, excessive thirst, or unexplained weight loss.
  • You must not meet the standard diagnosis for diabetes, like high blood sugar or A1c levels.
  • You must be willing to attend follow-up visits and tests as part of the study.
  • You or a parent/guardian (for minors) must sign a consent form to participate.
