Who can take part
- You are between 22 and 70 years old and your bones are fully grown
- Your low back disc pain is from only one disc level between L1 and S1
- Imaging shows the disc space height is at least 6 mm at the target level
- You have tried at least 6 months of non-surgery care (like physical therapy, medicines, injections, or lifestyle changes) without enough relief
- Your pain and disability scores are high enough (pain level at least 40 mm on a 0–100 scale, and disability score at least 40/100)
- You can sign consent and your planned surgery must be approved by the study’s medical advisory board
