Who can take part

  • You are age 65 or older, or between 60–64 with high surgical risk
  • Your heart valve problem is severe bicuspid aortic stenosis (based on scan/echo measures)
  • You feel limited by heart symptoms: New York Heart Association (NYHA) class II or higher
  • A CT scan shows you have the specific valve shape called “Type 0” (Sievers classification)
  • Your aortic valve opening size on CT fits the trial’s range (about 20–26 mm)
  • Your heart team says you can have TAVR through the groin (transfemoral)
