Who can take part

  • You have a bicuspid aortic valve (two flaps instead of three).
  • You have severe aortic stenosis (the valve is tight) or a mix of stenosis and leakage that needs treatment.
  • You don't have other heart problems that require surgery.
  • You've already had a high-quality CT scan for TAVR planning that includes special images of the heart.
  • You would receive a Sapien 3 valve if the doctor finds it's a good fit for your anatomy.
  • You have a blood vessel that can safely deliver the catheter for the Sapien 3 valve.
