Fecal transplant study for people with frequent kidney stones

Who can take part

  • You’re 18 to 69 years old
  • You’ve had kidney stones recently, and the stone type is mainly calcium-oxalate (at least 50%)
  • Your 24-hour urine shows either high urine calcium (over 225 mg/day) or high urine oxalate (over 40 mg/day, but also below 80 mg/day)
  • Your kidney function is fairly preserved (eGFR at least 60)
  • You can give informed consent and do study tasks like visits, 24-hour urine collections, and repeated stool collection
  • You agree not to join another kidney-stone treatment study at the same time
