Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have had calcium oxalate kidney stones (or, if you are not a stone former, you are willing to participate as a healthy volunteer).
  • You are willing to follow a controlled diet and stop taking supplements (like vitamins, calcium, probiotics) for 2 weeks before and during the study.
  • You do not have other serious health conditions like kidney disease, diabetes, or bowel disorders that affect mineral absorption.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
