Who can take part

  • You are age 60 or older
  • You were identified as “failed” by the AWGS screening algorithm
  • You have low muscle mass and/or weak handgrip and/or slower walking speed
  • You are not dealing with bone diseases, serious arthritis, or recent fractures
  • You do not have ongoing inflammation (like rheumatoid arthritis) or known nerve problems
  • You are not already doing regular exercise and you can get out of a chair or bed (not fully chair-/bed-bound)
