Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have an aortic aneurysm that is large, growing, or causing symptoms (or a bulge that has burst or is at high risk of bursting).
- You are considered high risk for traditional open surgery due to your health or previous surgeries.
- Your blood vessels (arteries) are shaped in a way that allows the doctor to place a special stent (a mesh tube) through a small incision in your groin or leg.
- You do not have certain severe health conditions, like very poor kidney function or a clotting problem that can't be managed.
