Who can take part

  • You have solid (non-blood) cancer that has spread to the bones in more than 5 spots, seen on scans
  • Your spinal bone metastases are “high-risk” but you have none or only mild symptoms (not needing opioid pain medicine)
  • The spinal lesions meet at least one high-risk feature, like a large spinal spot (about 2 cm or bigger), specific spinal areas, involvement of back joint parts, or more than 50% vertebra collapse
  • Your health/energy level is good enough for treatment (ECOG 0 to 2)
  • You’re age 18 or older and able to sign consent
  • If you could become pregnant, you must not be pregnant or breastfeeding and must use effective birth control
