Who can take part
- You have a solid tumor (like lung, breast, prostate, or colon cancer) that has spread to your spine.
- The affected area includes no more than 3 vertebrae next to each other.
- Your muscle strength is mostly normal (at least 4 out of 5) – you may need mild support like a cane or walker.
- Your spine is stable (not at high risk of breaking).
- You have not had previous surgery or radiation to the same spot in your spine.
- Your tumor type is not small cell lung cancer, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, or germ-cell tumor.
