Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 70 years old
  • Your breast cancer is HER2-negative (IHC or FISH test results confirm this)
  • You have at least one brain metastasis spot seen on MRI that is big enough (at least 10 mm by the longest measurement)
  • Your performance status is good (ECOG score 0 to 2, meaning you’re able to care for yourself and do light activities)
  • Blood, liver, and kidney tests are within required safety ranges (including hemoglobin and white blood cell and neutrophil counts above set minimums)
  • Your prior treatments fit the timing rules (no recent capecitabine in the last 6 months, and no recent major anti-cancer therapies that conflict with the study)
