Who can take part

  • You have had (or are receiving) a double lung transplant (both lungs).
  • Your average pulmonary artery pressure is 35 mmHg or lower.
  • Your transplant surgeon thinks either ECMO or off-pump support could be appropriate for you.
  • You are not having a single-lung transplant.
  • You are not receiving (or planning) a prophylactic—planned-in-advance—ECMO after surgery.
