Who can take part

  • You (any gender) must be at least 6 years old at the first visit
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of cystic fibrosis
  • Your clinician plans to treat your current CF lung flare-up with a 14-day course of IV antibiotics
  • You have had at least one positive Pseudomonas (Pa) culture within the past 2 years
  • In the past 6 weeks, you should not have had ICU care, a collapsed lung (pneumothorax), or coughing blood (hemoptysis), and you should not have started IV antibiotics for this flare-up yet
  • In the past 4 weeks, you should not have taken new CFTR-modulator meds, investigational treatments, or treatment for non-tuberculous mycobacteria
