Who can take part

  • Be age 18 or older
  • Have already tried the usual treatments/medicines for at least 30 days, and symptoms still continue
  • Be judged by a heart team to be at intermediate or higher risk for tricuspid valve surgery
  • Have symptom level in NYHA class II to IV (ongoing heart-related shortness of breath or limits on activity)
  • Be a good candidate for a catheter (through the groin/“femoral vein”) to reach the tricuspid valve, with access that can fit the tools
  • Agree to join by signing written informed consent
