Brain and memory testing in fatty liver disease

This study follows people who have been confirmed to have fatty liver disease seen on a liver sample. It aims to understand the condition over time and how different causes and health factors may affect it.

This study looks at what drives non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and how it affects the body, including immune-related changes. You may be invited if you have confirmed fatty liver disease or, alternatively, if you are a healthy person with no liver disease.

This trial is checking if certain blood tests can accurately identify nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and predict its complications. It may help find better ways to diagnose and monitor this condition without needing a liver biopsy.

This study checks how age affects memory and thinking, and compares people with mild memory problems, Alzheimer’s disease types, vascular dementia, and healthy controls. You may help researchers understand brain changes using thinking tests, MRI scans, and blood or spinal fluid tests.

This trial looks at how liver cirrhosis affects brain function by studying proteins and gut bacteria. It includes people with and without early signs of brain issues (hepatic encephalopathy). The goal is to better understand these changes and find new ways to help.

This study is creating a new test to measure thinking and memory problems in people with liver cirrhosis. It may help doctors find these problems earlier.
