Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 68 years old
- Your scaphoid fracture has not healed for either 2–6 months with certain injury features or over 6 months (non-union)
- You have tried non-surgical treatment (casts/splinting and similar care), unless your case is delayed with specific features as described
- Your overall health is fairly good (ASA 1 to 3)
- Your fracture is not open, and there is no trans-scaphoid perilunate dislocation
- You do not have certain complication signs like advanced arthritis (SNAC stage 2+), or poor blood supply to the bone (avascular necrosis)
