Who can take part
- You have confirmed head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC) and your doctors plan curative surgery for stage III or stage IVA.
- You are 18 to 79 years old.
- Your health is good enough for treatment (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
- You have no prior treatment with immune checkpoint drugs (such as anti–PD-1, anti–PD-L1, anti–PD-L2, or anti–CTLA-4 antibodies).
- Your blood tests, kidney function, and liver function are within required limits from recent screening labs.
- You can provide tissue samples for research (unused pre-treatment tissue and any remaining post-surgery tissue).
