This Phase 2 trial studies whether a TNF-blocking medicine can lower the risk of death in people with HIV who also have TB meningitis. You would receive standard TB meningitis treatment plus the study drug, if you meet the criteria.

- Start standard TB meningitis treatment no more than 3 days ago (including anti-TB drugs at standard doses and high-dose dexamethasone)
