Who can take part

  • You must sign a consent form and agree to trial procedures.
  • Your IgA nephropathy diagnosis must be confirmed by a kidney biopsy.
  • You must be age 18 to 70, and your kidney filtering function must be above 35 (GFR/eGFR).
  • Your urine test results must show high protein levels for most of the screening visits.
  • Before starting, you must already be on a stable dose of an ACE inhibitor or ARB for kidney protection.
  • You must not have certain conditions or recent infections, including active tuberculosis or hepatitis.
