Who can take part
- You’re age 18 or older
- You have confirmed hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer)
- Your surgery pathology showed a narrow safety margin (<1 cm from tumor to the cut edge of the liver)
- Your liver function is in the Child-Pugh A or B7 range, and you’re well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0–1)
- You must be able to provide a tissue sample from a tumor biopsy (excisional biopsy)
- For active hepatitis B (HBV), your HBV level must be low, and you must start and continue anti-HBV medicine around the time of SBRT
